Today I met with my old friend Német Zsolt. Several years ago we created a progressive metal band but we played for only ourselves. We ate a nice a pizza and listening the Force Feedback's new demo, which is very dynamic, aggressive, creative stuff with high quality mastering, not really related to their previous demos. (Note: the Force Feedback's guitar genius Tóth "Toló" Laci has played a little in our formation too.)
Zsolt showed me some other interesting music, two Pain of Salvation song, the Dryad of the Woods and the Disco Queen. It's and understood thing that I don't really like Pain of Salvation's music, because it's too eclectic and I cannot stand the singer's voice. But this two song is a masterpiece (maybe because the Dryad is a clean, instrumental song and the Disco Queen lack of singing? :) ).
The second band is Green Carnation. I've heard them long ago when they're a death metal band, but they weren't so special. But "The Quiet Offspring" is a very melodic, progressive metal album which don't have any stock death metal thing, like "gmoarrr" and grampfffarrrgh". :)
I'm very happy to know these musics, just look my last.fm stats!
