Today, I try to finish the Princess of London Escort Agency's new page. It's a complete redesign, the old page was nice, but they need a much more roboust site, with customization, automatic newletter service with a good manage.
I've choosed Drupal as a CMS as always. :) Because Drupal is simple, but sophisticated, I've easily written the special expansions. I've done the whole, without others' help, so I'm a bit proud. It still unfinished, but you can access it.
Planned features
- Custom node-view for the girls
- Easily update method for those who are not familiar with compters. This was the bigest chalenge for me.
- Image gallery
- Forums
- Blog engine
- Newsletter subscription
- RSS and Atom feeds in various subject
- Review system
These are mostly done in the vanilla Drupal, I have to wrote ~2000 lines of code to the additcted modules. It was a good experince for me, but I know my coding style is not close for the Drupal's coding standard. I split the layout and the code in my modules with the theme hooks, but it needs time to be a stable, sophisticated extension.
